Spencer Tunick - I was listening to NPR this morning and they were talking about photographer Spencer Tunick and his largest group (in nude) shot that took place in Zocalo Square, Mexico City early Sunday. Eighteen thousand people bared it all!
Copyright & Fair Use - Also this morning on NPR they were having discussions about The Fair Use Project at Stanford Law School's Center for Internet and Society. If you are ever wondering about the right to use portions of other's copyrighted material for critique, reference etc. - you might want to look at their site. You can also hear the story on NPR's website.
We did manage to make it out to the Urban Street Bazaar. Of course, I had to buy something! With all that great handmade work, how could I resist. I bought this lovely necklace (and little earrings to match) from Tefi Designs. Something about the pottery shard collection appealed but I did also like her Fairytale collection! Michael found some things for himself as well -- hand-dyed yarn to make me some cool socks. We also walked away with some handmade soap.
That necklace is so pretty. I'll have to check out Tefi's shop.
I saw the news report of the photo shoot in Mexico on Univision this weekend. Too cool.

I've gotta check out ANYTHING called "The Fairy Tale Collection." Thanks for the temptation!
And I looove handmade soap. There's a little place in Wilmington, NC that makes soaps and lotion bars by hand. I cannot wait to get back there and buy some stuff.

You know how one can get caught in the Google vortex? Well, I was clicking around the net and came across your blog. And holy smokes there is my necklace! I mean - your necklace. Glad you like it. And thanks a mil for posting links to my site. You rock!
P.S. I never make my bed.

I love Tefi and her shop! She is amazing, she just started designing a couple years ago...snatch her up now before her stuff becomes famous!
